This time the encounters will be featuring the new Dark Sun Campaign Setting coming out this summer!

Participate each week in an encounter that’s part of an ongoing campaign, played out over the course of a few months.

Plus you’ll earn “renown” points as you defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and complete quests – then get cool, exclusive rewards to use in your future D&D games.

The more you play, the greater your renown.

Dicehouse Games will be welcoming Jeff Poole as your Dungeon Master in the Dark Sun Encounters sessions.

Each session will start at 6:00 pm and run about two hours every Wednesday night. Jeff does ask you show up about 15 minutes ahead of time on the first session in order to get everyone signed up and characters out.

If you’ve never played D&D before, that’s OK. Beginners are more than welcome. And you don’t need to bring your own character. One will be provided for you.

This event is limited to about 4 to 6 players, so we will be taking sign ups. So if you’re interested (and we are expecting lots of people wanting to participate), please give Dicehouse a call or come in and sign up!

As many of you know, Dicehouse Games is going to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary! So to celebrate, we’re going to have a charity event this coming weekend! Saturday and Sunday, we’ll be having various games and tournaments run. There’s a $5.00 entry fee for each game with $1.00 in game bonuses. On Sunday, we’ll be having a charity auction. We’ll be auctioning off different signed products and new games that were donated by several different companies. All money we raise will be going to the Red Cross. We figure with all of the earthquakes we’ve had lately, the Red Cross could use all the help they can get!

Well, it wouldn’t be a party without food! So Sunday we’ll be providing food like pizza, soda, and cake. In fact, on Sunday, we’ll be open until midnight! Why? Well, technically our anniversary is April 12th, which is a Monday this year, and we figure people will be too busy during the week to celebrate, so let’s just do it on the weekend!

Next order of business? We’re going to be having the Pre-Release for Magic: the Gathering: Rise of the Eldrazi on Saturday, April 17th and Sunday, April 18th. We’ve scheduled a sealed tournament for each day, and if time permits, a second side event (most likely a draft) later in the day. We are taking sign ups now since these events will fill up, especially on Saturday. So either come in or call to put your name on the list. (Please don’t post on Facebook that you would like to sign up since sometimes there’s a delay of postings getting to us.)
