I know it doesn’t look like much, but when we’ve got a bunch of boxed games and special orders, it fills up the box pretty quickly.

Anyway, onto events!

This Friday we’ve got our usual Friday Night Magic! Come in with your standard deck and play! This event is growing and growing! See how other players are using the new Mirrodin Besieged cards in their decks. Entry is still only $5.00! We begin around 6:00 pm.

Also this Saturday at 6:00 pm, we will have our regular Magic the Gathering Saturday Night Booster Draft. We will be using the new Mirrodin Besieged boosters! Only $15.00 for this event, but that covers all your boosters and prizes!

In case you didn’t know, this Saturday is Magic the Gathering Mirrodin Besieged Game Day! Choose a side! Mirron or Phyrexia! Your deck must have at least 10 cards of one or the other, but you cannot mix them. You win a shot at preview cards from Mirrodin Pure or New Phyrexia. All participants receive a full art Treasure Mage. Top eight players receive a foil full art Black Sun’s Zenith.

On Sunday, February 27th, Jim from Z-Man Games came in and demoed the new game Luna! He also made time for Wasabi. Both are extremely fun games! On March 20th, Jim will be coming back in to demo Hotel Samoa! This time he will be here from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The Dead Gamers Society will be coming back in March to run their regular games! More details to come!

On March 13th, the DSG will be coming in to run Mage, a modern day wizard! Haus of Mirrors, in the World of Darkness. And Geist, a ghostly good time! These games always fill up. They usually begin at around 1:00 pm.

The Dead Gamers Society Rendezvous will be held on March 27th! If you’ve heard about the Rendezvous and haven’t been to one yet, this is an epic event! We usually open up at 10:00 am, a whole hour earlier than our normal time, and they run games all day! Usually six games in the morning shift, and then another three in the afternoon shift! Yep, a total of six games! This time, the theme is Historical Settings! More details to come!

So this week, Dicehouse Games was able to get in special orders for eight people. But there were seventeen items! Everyone who put in a special order receives a 10% discount. On Sunday, February 27th, Jim from Z-Man Games will be coming in to demo the new game Luna! If time permits, he will also be doing demos of Pandemic. Last time he came in and we played Factory Fun, and as the game says, it was fun! So come on in to check out this new game!

This weekend is also Orccon! If you are going up there, please be safe and have fun!

So we’ve got events!

As many of you know, we had our Mirrodin Besieged Pre-Release last Saturday and it was huge! We managed to fit 40 people into the event! And it looks like fun was had by all! So we want to do it again! This Saturday is the Launch Party of Mirrodin Besieged! Starting at noon, we will be running another event!

By the way, we will have Mirrodin Besieged product out for sale at midnight tonight! Yes, we will be open!

We would normally be having a Magic the Gathering Peasant Tournament this week, but since we are having the Launch Party, it will be pushed back to next Saturday.

The new session of Dungeons & Dragons Encounters has begun! This time we’ve got Keep on the Borderlands! Encounters is run every Wednesday night at 6:00 pm! Come on in and play!

The Dead Gamers Society comes in every month to run a few games. Let me tell you, these games are getting bigger and bigger! February will be no different!

Normally, they would be coming in this Sunday, February 6th to run two games. Mage is one of them. Come in and play a wizard in the modern day! They will also be running Geist! That’s right, that’s short for poltergeist! Come on in for a ghostly good time. But because it is Super Bowl Sunday, the DGS will be in next Sunday the 13th. Oh! Speaking of February 13th, the DGS will be coming in that day to run Haus of Mirrors! So three games next Sunday! They should be back to their normal schedule in March.

On February 12th, the Dead Gamers Society will be playing their London Fog game. Come play in Victorian London! Always a popular event!

Have we got events for you!

This Saturday, we have the Magic the Gathering: Mirrodin Besieged prerelease tournament! For those of you who have been to our prereleases before, we’re always packed! This time, Wizards of the Coast is doing things differently. Pick a side! Mirrin or Phyrexia! What side you choose determines which promo foil card you get! We only have a limited amount of cards. If you haven’t signed up yet, we’re full! We are taking names for a wait list though! We will start at 12:00pm (noon) sharp! If you’re not here, we will drop you from the list!

If you can’t make it to the prerelease event, maybe you can make it to our Saturday Booster Draft! If we have enough, we’ll be using the Mirrodin Besieged cards for it! We are not taking sign ups for this, but show up early for this one! We usually start at 6:00 pm.
