So we’ve got some events coming up. You can check them out on our Events section of our Facebook page as well. But here’s what we’ve got so far.
As always, we have Friday Night Magic going on every, well, Friday. We start at 6:00 pm. And the foil promo card is Qasali Pridemage! Entry is still only $5.00.
Saturday night is our Saturday Booster Draft Tournament. Entry for this is $15.00, which covers your three boosters and prizes!
Next Saturday, the 18th, we’ll be having a Magic the Gathering Peasant Tournament. Bring in your peasant deck (a deck of nothing but commons except you can use up to five uncommons) and play! Entry is only $3.00 and begins at 1:00 pm!
We still have the Dungeons & Dragons Encounters going on! Come on in and play in an encounter campaign. Every Wednesday starting at 6:00 pm. Give Tuan a call on Wedensday to get more information!
This coming Sunday, the Dead Gamers Society is coming in to run Geist! Come on in at 1:00 for a ghostly good time! Also, next Saturday, they will be coming in to run Werewolf, Mage, and Hunter! Don’t miss out on this supernatural fun!
This Saturday is Dungeons & Dragons Red Box Game Day! Kraig Horigan will be coming in to run this event for us! Beginners are always welcome! If you’ve ever wanted to learn to play Dungeons & Dragons but were too intimidated by the huge hardcover books, this is the event for you! Come on in at 1:00 pm for this event!
On Sunday the 19th, Darren Shimisaki will be coming in to run a Warmachine Demo Day! If you’ve never played Warmachine and want to learn how, come on down at 1:00 pm! Or maybe you just want to get a game in with some new players! This is the event for you!
So this week, DiceHouse was able to fill in special orders for nine people. That’s twelve items in total! Everyone who put in a special order receives a 10% discount! Looking for something we don’t have in stock? Special order it and you too can get a 10% discount!

So this is the first Sunday of the Month coming up, which usually means that the Dead Gamer Society comes in and runs Geist. However, due to two game conventions going on this weekend, we’re not sure what the schedule is going to be. Details are to come soon.
So last week we got in Magic the Gathering: From the Vault: Relics. It was huge! We sold out of it already! This week we’re going to be getting in the Duel Decks Elspeth vs Tezzeret! We’re only getting 18 of these in and they will be $34.95. I’ll be here at midnight again, so that’s when they will officially go on sale! These are sure to go fast!

So it seems this is a light week, but after last weeks huge amount of new stuff, you deserve a break.
But that doesn’t mean we won’t have any events!
As always, we have our Friday Night Magic coming up tonight! We also have our Saturday Night Booster Draft, this time featuring M11 of course. Looks like we’ve got another Peasant Tournament at 12:00 pm Saturday as well! It seems that those who participated last week had a good time that they want to do it again. We’ve also got the Magic 2011 Game Day coming up August 14th. Main event participants each receive a full-art Liliana’s Spectre card. Top 8 finishers also receive an exclusive full-art Mitiotic Slime prize card.
The Dead Gamers Society comes into the store twice a month to run other White Wolf games. Right now, the first Sunday of the month, Geist is run. They are also planning on starting a Promethian game to be run on the same day as Geist. And on the third Saturday of the month, they come in and run Vampire the Requiem. Although I believe that the Vampire game is over for the summer and they have started new season of Hunter, Werewolf, and Mage. But I’m sure their Facebook page can clarify that!
We still have the Dungeons and Dragons Encounters going on that previews the Dark Sun world coming out soon!If you want a sneak peek or a taste of it, come join in the Encounters game that goes on every Wednesday at 6:00pm. Participate each week in an encounter that’s part of an ongoing campaign, played out over the course of a few months. Plus you’ll earn “renown” points as you defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and complete quests – then get cool, exclusive rewards to use in your future D&D games. The more you play, the greater your renown. Dicehouse Games welcomes Jeff Poole as your Dungeon Master in the Dark Sun Encounters sessions. Each session will start at 6:00 pm and run about two hours every Wednesday night. If you’ve never played D&D before, that’s OK. Beginners are more than welcome. And you don’t need to bring your own character. One will be provided for you. If you have any questions about the Encounters event, you can contact Jeff at perrina39@hotmail.com or call him at 714-742-1086. This campaign of Encounters will be coming to a close at the end of September, but we should hopefully be starting the new set after! We’ll have more details as they come in!
There is also a Voltron tournament this Sunday! Darren Shimasaki will be running this tournament. And the prize will be the limited gold Voltron figure! We will be starting on Sunday at 1:00 pm!

So it’s a freakin’ hot Friday! I know we usually get our new stuff in on Thursdays, but our order got delayed by our distributor because of Magic the Gathering Core Set 2011, aka M11. Which is OK.
